Day 3 saw a force 5 wind on the beam, though some surfing was still possible. The highlight of a sunny day was an airborne dolphin! 50km of paddling finished with a nasty landing through dumping surf.
Hey! This lovely stuff continues a bit...and your East Coast swell forecast is "friendly" tiny 1 m now only all week...I had to land at 2 m, chickened away to launch again on my own at 2,50 m, and had the pleasure to watch 4 m swell at Birdlings Flat...impressive...I hopre you could get that on video! Your NZ crash test dummy :-))
