Champing at the bit
Wednesday, February 20, 2008

This just in from satellite phone again!:

Give me a kayak any day! 6hr walk down lovely coastline. Sore hips but energy back! Fueled by great cake from Jaqui. Back in schoolhouse. Will paddle first chance we get.

Truly glad to see you up n' about. While ok, hospital wear not your best look. Been following Barry and your adventures and am looking forward to seeing, reading more.
Good luck and good paddling to both.

Never mind champing at the bit, you sit back in the saddle for a while longer, eat some more cake and get yourselves really strong.Barry looks like a skinny underfed boy, but we're sure he's not underfed knowing what his appetite is like.Hope we can keep in touch a bit longer, it's something to look forward to each day, we don't bother watching the tele now, it's far more interesting keeping track of you two.
Keep well, and safe, and look after one another.
Love from the old folk xx
