JUSTINE ROUNDING THE OTAGO PENINSULA
JUSTINE SURFING TO NUGGET POINT
hurrah! A day off after 6 days on the water in a row. The mission for the day is to catch up on sleep and build up Barry!! Those people that know Baz will know he's not exactly fat, so although we are eating well, what few extra pounds that he has have been used up on long days of paddling. A hearty breakfast of eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast this morning, has been followed by meat pies, chocolate brownies and fruit. Later on we'll have fish and chips and ice cream! And we even bought some guiness ... for the iron, you understand! We're off to see Meri now and film her doing one of her radio buletins for the fisherman. Then it's probably back to sleep, hopefully we'll paddle again tomorrow, although we haven't checked the forecast yet.

Hi Justine, Hi Barry,
Keep eating well and enjoy it. I'm really envious actually. Fish 'n' chips, fried breakfast, guinness and ice cream? The sort of food you HAVE to eat just to stay visible to the naked eye, is the sort of food I should avoid for fear of a global disaster.
Happy paddling,
Jim K
We can see you're just as fussy as Barry, Justine, eating other peoples left overs.Good on yer gal. Bet you had a nice time at Waipapa Point, what a nice place to have a camp site.
Best of luck if you manage to paddle tomorrow.
We loved the picture of the Mollymawk, never seen one before, especially as it got so close. Are all Albatrosses as friendly as that? shouldn't think so!
Once more happy paddling.
The old folk xx
hi Jim, Barry would say something rude back if he could stop laughing!! 'The old folks', we always enjoy your comments!! Keep them coming, and the same to everyone else who has commented, we really like reading them when we get to a computer!! Thanks!!
Justine and Barry
Hi Justine and Barry,
I am now in Anglesey and it is quieter than usual over here ;-( Barry, I remember a movie called "the incredible shrinking man". Barry is incredible for sure. Happy Valentine Barry! ;-))))
