How unlucky?! Only managed 13km today!Paddled to fjord exit but NW wind was too strong, so came back to same place. Put tent up in small hut on barge. We need the tent because of the hoards of sandflies. And it's still raining!

Winds, rain and sandflies - how delightful. Well as they sang in Annie - the sun will come up tomorrow....... I'm sure you'll be making good distance in no time.

cheers

The goons song comes to mind (adapted) "I'm paddling backwards for Christmas"... keep up the great paddling. Derrick has been wonderful and has all the adventure heroes stuff up on the website. Cheers Sarah
