Friday, March 28, 2008

ENJOYING A BEER AND NICE FOOD IN WESTPORT
S42°25.52' E173°41.23'

Made Kaikoura after 34km. Met a pod of dolphins doing backflips! Was a calm day today, short paddle to hang out here.

it must be strange with the end almost in sight now after so long.
i hope that you two enjoy the last few legs and have some great weather to finish the trip with - its grim back here and you'll surely miss it all once you're sat on that plane.
looking forward to seeing some more photos when you get back!
take care,
jake

Won't it be lovely being dry for a whole day, then the next and the next.Jakes quite right you couldn't have been away at a better time, it's been horrendous weather here, not that it worries you guys.Have a nice day off tomorrow.Hope you see more dolphins. Hi Jake, hope you're well
