60km paddle later we arrive in Kaiteriteri. Very happy to be here! Did it in two 30km hops, first to Separation Point (a pretty paddle), then round coast from there. Saw lots of kayakers! Staying at a busy tourist spot tonight, what a contrast!

Does sound very different than what you've been used. Looks like you're entering the home streatch. All the best

GR8, so pleased you've cleared Farewell Spit, it'll be nice for you to meet other people, and their appears to be lots of wild life there, which we know you both love, hope you've got out of the shark area, that gave us a bit of a scare, don't know how you felt about it.
Anyway, enjoy yourselves tonight. Love from the old folk xx

Mr barry Shaw, i am shocked at your behaviuor, all most eve photo Ive seen has either a woman or a bottle of beer pictured in your hand. In fact twice I have seen both in the same picture.

Mary and the boy scouts are discusted. Hope you beat the time for the fastest woman around the "south island"

Regards

KAA ( kayakers against Alcohol).

Hi from Axel,
Very very busy over here with taxes and family. So just dropped-in again today. You're off the west coast. Have nice enjoyable remaining paddling days. Looks that Barry's hair turned blonde from the sunny weather? Should call him 'Blondy' now or is it Captain Bazz (Cook) as I looked-up Captain Cook did the first recorded circumnavigation of New Zealand. Easter Weekend on Texel, happy Easter to you all down there!
