Passed 1000km mark and running out of toothpaste

Rest day, lots of wind and rain. Eating lots. Reached the 1002km mark yesterday! Hope to get to Milford Sound in two paddling days but the weather will decide. Nearly run out of toothpaste...

So pleased you put the distance on your report this time as I made it 979km incuding your 72km, but I knew I'd missed a day out somehow Getting low on toothpaste, well you'll have to use the old fashioned remedy I used as a child,Salt.Hope you're not held up too long, Love from the old folk xx
