Blasted by strong winds and spray
Monday, March 03, 2008
Reached Catseye Bay. Very strong South Easterly wind, white sheets of spray blasting at us as we crossed the various sounds. Landed 9am and waited for the wind to ease. Paddled later, but still strong at 2pm. Had to be careful landing.

Very tough going we can imagine, don't overdo it, you've got lots of time left. The main thing is enjoy what you do. Eat plenty and keep well.Won't be long before you'll be meeting lots more lovely Kiwi's. How's the toothpaste situation?
Love from the old folk xx
